Orders

I need to modify my order.

To make changes before your order has shipped, email us at shop@pirg.org or give us a call at 1 (800) 681-6860. Once your order has shipped you will need to request a return or exchange. See our full return and exchange policy here.

Where can I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped that will contain the tracking number. You can click on this number to see your package's shipping history. It can take up to 24 hours for this to update.

Note that if you selected first class mail to ship a small item like stickers, this does not come with tracking. If you have not received it within 10 days of ordering, please contact us at shop@pirg.org or give us a call at 1 (800) 681-6860.

Shipping

How soon will my order ship?

We ship most orders within 3 business days of being placed. If we are experiencing any significant delays we will reach out to you directly to let you know the timeline.

What shipping methods are available?

We ship via USPS. For most items, ground advantage, priority mail, or priority mail express are the available options. Some small items such as stickers can ship with a standard first class stamp but note that this option does not come with tracking.

Payment methods

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Shop Pay and Google Pay.

We do not currently accept PayPal.

I am being asked to sign into a shop account but I just want to pay with a credit card.

You do not have to create a shop account. On the check out page, scroll past the express checkout buttons and below the delivery information there is the option to enter your credit card information.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I return an item?

Unwashed, unworn, and undamaged items with tags still attached can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of original purchase date. Returns are subject to USPS shipping and handling fees. Customers are responsible for initial shipping charges. See our full return and exchange policy here.

Donations

Is my donation tax deductible?

PIRG is a 501c(4) non-profit organization. We are not a tax-deductible charitable organization because in order to make the important changes that we do, advocating for or against legislation, we are not federally tax deductible.

How is my donation being used?

Donations fund research, pay for advocates, and support education campaigns to spread the word to more people like you. They allow us to pool the collective resources of our organization and our members to spread the word about our campaign and to compete with the kind of campaigning that special interests are capable of.
